Before your visit
We're open daily from 9:00 to 18:00, all year round. Admission, parking and how to get here — all the practical details in one place.
How to get here
You'll find us in the village of Sedlec, just outside Mikulov. Whether you drive or walk, you'll find the gate without getting lost.
Main car park by the entrance
By car from Mikulov — car park P1
Coming from Mikulov, road signs lead you straight to the main car park P1 by the zoo entrance. From your car it's just a short walk to the gate. Parking is free.
Just past the railway crossing
By car from Valtice — car park P2
Coming from Valtice, your navigation takes you to car park P2 right after the railway crossing. From there it's just a few minutes' walk to the entrance. Parking is free.
By train or bus
On foot from the train or bus — via P1
Arriving by train or bus to Sedlec? Follow the ZOO Sedlec signposts towards car park P1 — the zoo entrance is right next to it.

Helping animals
An unwanted gift? We will take care of it
Has a rabbit, guinea pig, hamster or another small pet ended up at your home with nobody to look after it? Please do not post it in the classifieds and never release it into the wild — get in touch with us instead. We can take it into our domestic animal yard, where it gets year-round care, an enclosure and company. Our capacity is limited, so please call or e-mail us first so that we know you are coming and can prepare a place.
An injured wild animal — a hare, hedgehog or fallen fledgling — belongs to a wildlife rescue centre, not to a zoo. Do call us anyway and we will point you to the nearest one.
