Why the blue and yellow macaw?

They grow to 76–86 cm and weigh 900–1300 g. Therefore, they belong to the larger macaw species. They are very distinctly colored.

Did you know?

They often fly very far in search of food – sometimes up to 25 km.

4For the Patron and Benefactor tiers we'll arrange a visit and experiences with you.

The adoption is symbolic — the animal stays in the care of the zoo. It also makes a great gift: in the note at checkout, tell us who the certificate should be made out to. More information at info@zoosedlec.cz.
