Dwarf rabbit
- Description
- They weigh approximately 1.5-4 kg. They have a very stocky body, short limbs, and a very short neck.
- Habitat
- They are a Dutch breed that originated around the 1930s.
- Diet
- They feed mainly on hay, grain, vegetables, fruit, and tree twigs (because of their teeth).
- Reproduction
- Pregnancy is between 28 and 35 days. They usually have four to six young.
- Lifespan
- 5 to 10 years

- Dwarf rabbits are more sensitive than normal breeds (e.g., to rhinopharyngitis and rhinitis, which is a very serious, even fatal disease in rabbits), and therefore they are intended primarily for indoor breeding.
